Thunderstars Minor Hockey Association is saddened by the recent news from Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta that all Hockey Canada sanctioned events are cancelled including practices, games, and our Atom D provincial tournament.
Our committee and association members have put in countless hours of planning but we respect the decision of Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta and understand that the safety of our players, families and fans is of the utmost importance right now.
We would like to thank all of our players, parents and fans for a wonderful 2019/2020 season. To everyone that has stepped up and volunteered as a coach, assistant coach, manager and worked shifts at tournaments this season THANK YOU! Without volunteers like yourselves our Association wouldn't thrive like it does.
THANK YOU to all the parents and community members that signed up to work at our Atom D provincial tournament, without you our tournament would not have been successful. It was sure to be a memorable weekend and we appreciate that you were willing to spend time with us making it a success, we hope to see you when we host next time!
